Injured turtle transfered to the Meneou Turtle Rescue Center
After recieving the «Rescue Kit» provided through Action C5 of the LIFE EUROTURTLES Program, two Inspectors of the DFMR Limassol District Unit, were called on site for treating an injured Caretta caretta. The marine turtle had a serious head injury and saline solution was applied followed by covering the injury with gauzes. The turtle was then transferred to Meneou Rescue Centre.
