WWF Italy awareness events of 2021

Thanks to the extension of the project until December 2021, 48 awareness raising events were held in 2021 with the release of 31 turtles in Policoro, Maratea, Taranto, Noto, Scoglitti, Avola, Sciacca, Acireale e Mazara del Vallo. The news of 2021 was the presentation of the exhibition of the euroturtles project which was set up in the summer months in Policoro, Catania, Noto e Torre Salsa. In this way, the turtle release events and the exhibition made it possible to sensitize hundreds of people on the conservation of sea turtles in 2021 as well.
